“Doctor as Teacher” – One of the six principles of naturopathic medicine

The root of the English word “doctor” is the Latin “docere”, meaning “to teach”, because traditionally the role of the doctor was to educate people on the factors that affect their health, and how they might make informed choices to maintain good health.

At Toronto Centre for Naturopathic Medicine, we honour this tradition, not only when we create treatment plans for our patients, but by offering workshops for everyone.

Workshops we have offered in the past include workshops on children’s health, understanding food labels, metabolic detoxification and many other topics.

Our upcoming workshops are below. We invite you to register if you’re interested.

We hope to see you soon.
