ND

Yan Yen Loo is a licensed naturopathic doctor.  She is passionate about supporting patients with their mental health.  Her clinical focus includes:

Yan Yen practices with heart. She ensures patients are heard in a safe and welcoming space. Her approach is to first provide patients with symptom relief. Meanwhile, she works on investigating and treating the causes of their symptoms. This approach allows for long-term wellness.

Yan Yen integrates advanced laboratory testing, when needed as part of the assessment process. Her treatments incorporate nutrition, herbal medicine, vitamins & supplements, acupuncture, cupping, lifestyle coaching, and counselling.

Yan Yen is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Human Biology and Environmental Sciences) and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She completed an acupuncture internship at the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in China. She also has additional training in herbal medicine and holistic counselling.

Dancing is Yan Yen’s element — particularly expressive, freestyle dance (no structured choreography here!). If she’s not dancing, she’s either biking around the city or laying in a hammock somewhere quiet with lots of blue skies and greenery.

Naturopathic medicine and acupuncture treatments provided at Toronto Centre for Naturopathic Medicine are covered by most extended healthcare plans.
