Melissa Dunseith is a registered massage therapist and Reflexology Association of Canada certified reflexologist since 2004.
She integrates reflexology, and her extensive knowledge of other massage therapy techniques into treatments, including use of hot stones and Thai Massage techniques.
Melissa has experience working with all age groups, including infants and pregnant women, in a wide range of spa and multi-disciplinary healthcare facilities. She has extensive experience in the treatment and management of a wide variety of health conditions, including:
- Prenatal massage
- Sports injuries
- Anxiety, using a combination traditional massage therapy techniques in conjunction with reflexology
Melissa completed her massage therapy training at Kikkawa College in 2011 and holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology (1999) from McMaster University. She is presently studying Ayurvedic Medicine (the traditional medicine of the Indian subcontinent) at the Centre for Ayurveda and Indian Systems of Healing in Toronto.
In addition to her dedication to the study of Ayurveda, Melissa is an avid Ultimate (Frisbee) competitor, participating in tournaments internationally, throughout North America and Asia.
